Since that year, the Boston Red Sox have been unable to win a World Series championship game. Well, that was until 2004. In 2004, the Boston Red Sox defeated the New York Yankees after returning from a 0-3 deficit, then went on to win the World Series of 2004. Still, the New York Yankees will always be the major player of the Bambino’s Curse whether it is believed or not.
